Bos Inoculant Early-Season Booking Program
As growers plan ahead for the upcoming season, BOS Inoculants continue to stand out as a trusted, high-performing choice for pulse and dry bean crops. Take advantage of early-season pricing available until November 30th, and enjoy an additional 2% discount on sales over $10,000.
BOS offers three convenient formulations—Granular, Peat, and Liquid—to suit your equipment and application preferences.
Granular Inoculant
The 12.25 kg bags are priced at $88.99 per bag, covering 10 acres at 12-inch row spacing ($8.89/ac)
or 8 acres at 10-inch spacing ($11.12/ac).
For larger applications, the 196 kg mini-bulk option is available at $1,424 per unit, treating roughly 160 acres at 12-inch rows ($8.89/ac) or 131 acres at 10-inch rows ($10.87/ac).
Peat Inoculant
A full case is priced at $398, treating up to 105 bushels of lentils ($3.79/bu) or 165 bushels of peas ($2.41/bu).
Liquid Inoculant
The liquid formulation comes in $395 per case, treating 160 bushels of either lentils or peas at a cost of $2.49 per bushel.
Dry Bean Inoculant
Now introducing a premium Peat formulation priced at $440 per case, treating between 16.5 and 33 bushels, depending on seed size and conditions
Why Choose BOS?
BOS inoculants are formulated with a dual-strain advantage, pairing Rhizobium with Pseudomonas sp. for stronger biological performance. This combination is designed to maximize nutrient availability and plant resilience through:
Seamless flowability and easy handling, ensuring consistent application
Higher Rhizobium counts (cfu/g) for reliable nodulation
Enhanced phosphate and mineral solubilization
Improved root development through natural auxin production
Better stress tolerance, as Pseudomonas helps suppress ethylene, the plant’s stress hormone
With competitive pricing, proven biological performance, and limited-time early-season savings, BOS Inoculants deliver measurable value to every acre. To learn more or to place your early-season order, contact your local Johnston’s Grain representative before November 30th and lock in your savings. Grow Smart & Save Early!

Daily Joke
A blonde and a redhead have a ranch. They have just lost their bull. The women need to buy another, but only have $500. The redhead tells the blonde, “I will go to the market and see if I can find one for under that amount. If I can, I will send you a telegram.” She goes to the market and finds one for $499. Having only one dollar left, she goes to the telegraph office and finds out that it costs one dollar per word. She is stumped on how to tell the blonde to bring the truck and trailer. Finally, she tells the telegraph operator to send the word “comfortable.” Skeptical, the operator asks, “How will she know to come with the trailer from just that word?” The redhead replies, “She’s a blonde so she reads slow: ‘Come for ta bull.’
