Grain Marketing Update
Grain trading remains active, with steady demand for feed grains such as wheat, oats, and barley across multiple delivery windows. Recent weeks have also seen increased movement in brown flax and several sizable yellow flax trades. This momentum is expected to continue until buyers, resellers, and exporters fill their quotas. If you’re considering marketing any of your grain, connect with your trusted broker; they’ll help you secure the right market opportunity!
Soil Sampling Program Update
Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit their 2025 post-harvest soil samples to Croplands Analytics—or had their trusted Johnston’s Grain representative collect them on-farm. Our team is diligently processing your samples to deliver precise recommendations that help boost yields, improve soil health, and maximize your return on investment. We’re still accepting samples for this crop year, so if you’re interested in joining the AnneMaxx AG program, now’s the time; our early adopters are already seeing the results!
For more information about our soil sampling program and process, please reach out to your trusted Johnstons Grain Crop Advisor below or call 1.884.324.7778
