Grain Marketing Update
Feed grain markets remain stable with steady demand from farm grain resellers and commercial buyers. Feed barley, feed wheat, and oats continue to trade in significantly higher volumes compared to specialty grains. We’re starting to see a slight increase in sales of large green lentils and brown flax, although volumes remain lower than those on the feed side. The typical movement window remains around two months; however, there are occasional daily opportunities for immediate or short-term movement.
If you’re looking to market your grain today, don’t hesitate to contact your trusted Johnston’s Grain Broker!
